That was only possible from an inexplicable drop from a TE.
You don't know what we would have done had he caught that.
Why does LSU get no credit for things that they accomplished with your type?

I am being realistic in saying don't over value a win against a below average Florida team.
Well that's better than the loss to UF I'm sure you had penciled in.
quote:
What I don't accept is running straight into the strength of a defense such as MSU and not having any success, but continuing to do it.
State and UF are within 1 yard allowed per game rushing (120.5 to 121.4), and UF actually has an edge in yards per attempt allowed (3.1 to 3.4). The game plan unfortunately didn't work against state, but did against UF. Miles knows what he is doing to give a young team the best chance to win.

I especially like the way we lulled them to sleep by stumbling and bumbling our way to 3rd and 25. I think somebody on the sideline told the Florida cornerback that his shoes were untied before that third down play.

Two great stops on first and second down, followed by another crafty defensive ploy of leaving the tight end so wide open that he dropped the ball out of surprise.
God you assholes are insufferable. Nothing but excuses for when we do things right. Bottom line is we DID get a necessary TD drive and we DID get a necessary defensive stand and we DID force a turnover to set up the win.
When you start trying to explain those things away, you better include all the flukes UF got to even be in the game. But that wouldn't fit your narrative.

FWIW, I have never started one of those threads.

Or you'll bitch about the LSU baseball team, while winning the vast majority of its games,
I love losing to Stony Brook and Houston in the postseason at Alex Box Stadium. Love it!!!

Like what? The Missed XP?

i never seen a fanbase shite all over the accomplishments of their team like LSU fans. its quite unusual

I have never seen a bunch more miserable when "their" team wins.
It's pretty comical how people spin away victories.
It comes down to those type of people hating being wrong. It's been 10 years of being wrong and they are getting desperate.

Yeah, I mean, I understand wanting to look at the good AND the bad in every game, and I think that's a good thing to do. But willfully ignoring and/or downplaying and writing off (typically in an a-hole-ish manner) any and all good things that come from a game is straight up pathetic and it happens way too often on here.

There was a simple term we used to use for the opinionated/judgmental, non-alum LSU fan:
fricking Loser
Hey, just sharing some insight.....

We got a TD drive when we absolutely had to have one late in the 4th quarter
The only 2 completions Jennings had on that drive, Dural had to bail him out. Nothing that AJ did Saturday night made me feel any better about the position.

got a defensive stand inside the 5 yard line
After giving up a 75 yard completion from Driskel, and getting a gift from their TE.

a turnover to set up the win.
Again, Driskel.
As young and inexperienced as we are on offense, the defense is what's more concerning about this team. Driskel is garbage but we made him look like Jarrett Lee. Plays were made, I agree, but this team applies as much pressure as the Saints. Fournette was the only consistent factor the entire night, IMO.

As far as breaks keeping them in the game? Thats absolutely what I'm implying.
How many PI calls went our way on that scoring drive? Bad decisions by Driskel? The fumble on the kickoff? The wide open drop in the endzone on the go ahead TD?
Even this worked!

Oh look, another insufferable a-hole.
Did I say you should? I've been as vocal about AJ's shortcomings as any, but I will give him credit for that drive, especially the TD pass.
Relevance? And yet we still made a defensive stand inside the 5.
Actually, no. The ball went to a UF receiver, our D just made a play. Again though, admitting these things will never fit the insufferable a-hole narrative.
When did that become a good thing?

You think not one thing went UF's way that night? Not one?
There's no sense in talking to you.

As opposed to the genius we had at QB?

But, I'd take Lee over Driskel any day. So there's my point
