Yeah, it does feel weird to be pulling for the same outcome as Bama fans. If Auburn can do it though, it means that as long as we beat Bama, we can take a loss in any single game afterwards and still win the West outright.

And with that, Auburn is mathematically eliminated from the West race. They have 4 SEC losses, and with LSU still having to play both Alabama and Ole Miss, at least one team will have at least 5 SEC wins.
Next up, the WLOCP. Both teams control their own destiny, but Florida would basically lock up the East with a win, while Georgia would still need to beat both Kentucky and Auburn.

The beauty of right now is that the only scenario LSU needs is to win.

Indeed. After the beating in Jacksonville, our potential opponent in Atlanta is just about locked up. The only possible (extremely unrealistic) way for Florida to not win the East at this point would be for them to lose to both Vandy and USCe, and for Vandy to win out.

Auburn and South Carolina wins today would have been nice.

Updated for last night's MSU win. We all know which game matters most tomorrow, but Arkansas also makes the trip to Oxford if you want to keep an eye on future opponents. With a bye next week, that will be Ole Miss' last game before they play us.
Also of note, Florida has essentially locked up the East with the win over UGA. It would take the most improbable of scenarios (involving a tie with Vandy, of all teams) in order for Florida to not win it. The Gators can officially clinch it tomorrow.

For those who still care, here's how big of an impact the Alabama-Mississippi State game has on the divisional race:
Week 11 Games to Watch:
Alabama v. Mississippi State
LSU v. Arkansas
If State can knock off Alabama, LSU would stand as the only 1-loss team in the division and would once again control it's own destiny.... however, should Alabama beat State, State would then fall out of contention. In addition, should LSU drop another game down the stretch, it would be more favorable for State to be involved in a three-way tiebreaker than for Ole Miss.
Assuming that Alabama, LSU, and State finish 6-2 and 1-1 against the other tied teams, the tiebreaker would be awarded to the team with the best record against the 4th-ranked team in the division (who I assume would be Ole Miss), State and LSU would be the remaining teams and LSU would win the H2H.
Prediction:
Alabama 5-1 (Loss: Ole Miss)
LSU 5-1 (Loss: @Alabama)
Ole Miss 4-2 (Losses: @Florida, Arkansas)
Mississippi State 3-3 (Losses: LSU, @Texas A&M, Alabama)
Arkansas 3-3 (Losses: Texas A&M, @Alabama, @LSU)
Week 12 Games to Watch:
LSU v. Ole Miss
Prediction:
Alabama 5-1 (Loss: Ole Miss)
LSU 6-1 (Loss: @Alabama)
Ole Miss 4-3 (Losses: @Florida, Arkansas, LSU)
Week 13 Games to Watch:
Alabama v. Auburn
Texas A&M v. LSU
Prediction:
Alabama 7-1 (Loss: Ole Miss)
LSU 7-1 (@Alabama)
