That would be nice... but as football fans we're lucky. Most other sports require less time in college than football does.

It was wishful thinking to think Shep wouldn't get bitter about how he was not used, given his athletic ability and his production when he was given chances. Not to mention that he was very clear about wanting to be a QB and was never given a chance at that despite how little production we got at QB while he was here.
Don't give me this nonsense about him wanting to switch to WR, b/c you all know he wanted to be a QB but was smart enough to see he wasn't being given that chance.
He is paying dearly for his decision to stick with LSU after it became clear he wouldn't get more than a few touches a game. Say what you want about how he didn't live up to expectations, but he produced when he was given the ball despite never getting it enough to find a rhythm.
