Scary game - don't want any overconfidence in this one. I think Coach Mullen has transformed sleepy old MSU into a monster/sleeper team in the SEC West. The Bulldogs offensive numbers have been gaudy - Auburn lucked out in holding them off at the end. We'd best take notice.

Now all that said, I'm being conservatively optimistic and will call it LSU by 4:

TIGERS - 17
Bulldogs - 13

LSU must disrupt the MSU offense and hold the ball. Makes this one potentially a defensive struggle, which I think LSU can win. A shoot-out could be dicey.

Why? Because they were 1-4 against the West? Because they JUST lost to Auburn again? I just don't get the State lose. I know we almost lost there in 2009. We played VERY poorly. If we lose, it will be because we played badly.

Tigahs - 31

Bulldogs - 16

Dogs jump to an early 10-0 lead, then the cowbells are silenced by 28 unanswered, the dogs muster a late 4th qtr TD in front of an almost empty stadium, miss the 2 pt conversion, and then we tack on 3pt icing, ftw.

Is this really the first time both teams have been ranked during this game? Couldn't find it on google or TD...a friend is telling me this.
