I think he was referring to the sideline guy we canned today. It's odd to see someone like that let go with a head coach

Ed will help us get to a small bowl, but we're still looking at 6-6, 7-5 at best. Glad we took the 1st step!!!!

It's such an empty feeling. This feeling is much worse now than last year against A&M when it was the perfect send off game for him. Instead, Les being gone is after an ugly loss and the middle of a completely lost season with one of our most talented rosters ever that can't do much now.

Definition of bittersweet and a hollow moment. Feels like I'm at a funeral for a loved one who died from terminal illness and you're glad he's not suffering anymore but you still miss him.

You have no idea what he can do with this team. Talent is there, and remember that he went on a roll with the Trojans baw

One of two things:

- His contract/employee agreement was tied to Les

- Or he was pissed by the decision and walked with Les in hopes that the loyalty will afford him another position on Les' next staff or with another school at the recommendation of Les.

That sums it up pretty well for me, too.

well Im pretty sure everyone thought that was Les' last game, it sure as heck seemed that way, its ridiculous he was brought back. That is why so many are mad at alleva, he thought les would change after 11 years. Give me a break. Alleva needs to go too just for that gaffe. Les should have ridden off with a final win, at home on thanksgiving. We should have had an interim coach for the bowl, then hired someone new. Instead Alleva wasted an entire season, will cost us recruits, and in the end we fired les like he was a piece of trash after a loss, which is shameful because at the end of the day he did a lot for the program. I wanted him gone, but not like this, he should have had a good sendoff

I watched the game yesterday and it was aggravating. Terrible waste of talent.

Les really did need to go....

All right, time to move on, but so much for those who said:

"Miles is untouchable now. He's got Alleva by the balls!"

Lol.

Miles should have been fired on the spot at the press conference after A&M games when his response to changing the offense was he have Fournette. You knew right then and there it would be no change.

I feel for Fournette and he should have gone to Bama.

For all the Miles, LSU did him wrong crowd, he played LSU against other jobs as well.

At a minimum Cameron should have been fired last year.

As fas as Wisconsin game, Chryst played Aranda. The fact that Key was in coverage in that game was as costly as the pick Harris threw.

you obviously haven't been paying attention so here are some cliff notes for you. Alleva essentially had to fire Les twice. Alleva had Miles fired and replaced last year before F. King Alexander overruled him.

First of all, you don't keep a coach around b/c some recruits might turn. A new coach will bring in new recruits. Les was told to make changes and he refused. Letting him coach the rest of the year knowing that he'd be fired at the end is the absolute dumbest decision that could have been made. When you make a decision to fire someone, you don't wait.

he had a great sendoff last november. It's a shame Alexander messed that up.
