My cousin played in the Louisiana Warhawk's band and said the only place she was physically scared was...Bama? No...LSU...No? Arkansas...No? It was ULL. Said they were throwing bottles, rocking the bus, pushing the women, cursing at them. It was just terrible. Absolutely the most classless fans they have ever seen. Said all of the SEC fans were hospitable with some good-natured ribbing.

Apparently the more letters they add, the more they think it's an insult.
Probably a deep-seeded insecurity about the letter they wish wasn't a part of their own university manifesting itself into a terrible attempt at mockery.

The best part is that they always try to spin it as a branding issue, but they would be the first ones crying like babies if ULM tried to brand themselves as the Louisiana Warhawks. Lucky for them, ULM doesn't seem to need to rebrand themselves to recognize their own self worth. It really is sad to watch.

What you idiots can't comprehend is that it is a BRANDING issue.... not a legal issue...
Check your diplomas.... i mean if you have one... LSU A&M is clearly YOUR legal name.... Now over the last 100 years or so the university for whom you go to Walmart (they must be loving the press on this thread) and buy purple has branded itself through its success on the field and through the power you have wielded in the Legislature as LSU... No quarrel but remember it is a BRAND not a LEGAL name...
So too we have embarked on a quest towards BRANDING ourselves as LOUISIANA.... It matters not to me what you folks think of it... For me we are LOUISIANA's Ragin Cajuns...
I find it so amusing that this annoys you so... With the vast dominance you have over everything in this state is it really so bad that another university strives for something... for anything? Must you attempt to squash anyone who achieves ANYTHING?
As has been pointed out so many times on this thread, you have 6 rings.... We have none.... Yet the mindless and toothless among you who have never even seen the LSU campus other than from your pick-ups on game days seem hell bent on achieving some level of satisfaction in US knowing our place...

My final rant... It is so rich to hear and see you folks talk about dealing with the obnoxious Cajun fans... Simply rich for you folks to call anyone obnoxious when you feel it is your birthright to be A-holes to any fans that dare venture onto your hallowed grounds not wearing purple.... Folks you have achieved your lifelong objectives... you are known far and wide as the biggest A-hole fans in the nation....

You should do research before you speak. Two years after the courts allowed USL to change its name but also mandated it could only do so if another school in the University system of LA also change its name with location of city attached, Northeast LA, now ULM, changed it name to the University of Louisiana, changed their uniforms, changed their logo... No one made a fuss about it except for ULM alum and their own governing board. So they changed their name back to ULM, and in 2006 changed their mascot from an Indian to a Warhawk also. Fast forward to 2012, where as ULL is trying to brand itself as Louisiana Ragin Cajuns and LSU can't handle it. However, they never had a problem when ULM did it. Fact!

You should do research before you speak . ULM never changed their name to University of Louisiana, they just put "Louisiana" on a football helmet and a few baseball jerseys. The story about this coming from the Cajuns keeps getting bigger and bigger to try and justify their actions

gotta love BR talking shite about food to Laffy. You can't be serious. BR didn't even know what crawfish were until around the 60s, and the only thing BR bests Laffy in as far as food is concerned perhaps is in the number of chains dominating the landscape.
