Putting dry seasoning on the crawfish is a thing in Lafayette, so I would say BR has an advantage there

Wait are you talking about putting some more seasoning on the sumbitches as soon as they come out of the pot in an ice chest and then letting them sit a while?

If so I've seen that as SOP anywhere in the state.

Now at the eating table I'd say putting more seasoning on them would be strange.

This thread's great! Let me clear some things up, though.

--Baton Rouge isn't really south Louisiana. It's Shreveport South, with basically a really pretty school in the middle of a ghetto. Redneck country. So trying to do anything ridiculous like compare authentic Acadiana crawfish to BR is absurd, since everyone actually cooking crawfish worth a flip in BR is from Acadiana or Nola. You've really done nothing to earn your eaux's and fleur de lis over there.

--The Delcambre Reeboks/hair gel crew is mostly from New Iberia and the nether regions of Acadiana. And they're almost all DIEHARD LSU FANS. In fact, it's well known that 99% of coonass trash that barely finished high school love LSU more than their parents, pick-ups or even Best Stop boudin balls. Hence the famous coonass cries of "LSYOOO BAWWW!" and "LES GOTSTA GO BRUH!"

--This is mostly because there are no t-shirt Louisiana fans, where the vast majority of LSU fans are t-shirt trash from all around the state.

Now, with all that out of the way, this Cajuns team isn't nearly as strong as it was last year, and LSU looks improved. Long shot for my boys to get 2/3, but hey, GEAUX CAJUNS.

Undergrad Cajuns, grad school A&M. I mostly use this account for SECRant football talk, so the A&M tag makes more sense. But my sig is still Cajuns first...

EDIT: One thing about my time in College Station, though, was that it really taught me the value of openly and viciously hating other in-state school teams.

Im just messing with you, but with an undergrad from ULL and a graduate degree from A&M you must really hate LSU.

Are you really having to go to GQ to find something bad to post about LSU???

Oh good lord no.... You simply asked for a link to the bottle throwing incident.. so I provided you with one...

Of course everyone knows that was just a one-off incident... that LSU fans are not at all like that.... all so welcoming.... sarcasm junior sarcasm...

Then I posted a link to an opponent's experience in Lafayette... but of course you folks can't grasp any distinction.. Throwing bottles at busses in your world is akin to feeding a team and providing a welcoming atmosphere in our world..

You see the more you guys talk it out the more obvious it becomes who LSU fans really are

So, if this story is to be believed (and it must be true....somebody alleged it and it's on the internet), the answer to the question of "when was the last time a bottle was thrown at LSU?" the answer would be 10 years ago. Definitely sounds like a pattern

That again is rich... "If it is to be believed" I guess your hangover lasted for days after that because your President issued a public statement of apology to the University of Tennessee...

As to the latter question "when was the last time a bottle was thrown at LSU"... please educate me kind sir... Have not seen an apology ever written to the LSU Administration... should be as easy for your to find as my example....

See now you're just making shite up. Show me where anybody , anybody said these events are anything more than anecdotal. I can find good and bad stories about anyone if I look hard enough

Ok, bruh... before you say anything - Im from Vermilion Parish, so I know a little bit about all things Cajun.

That being said, can you tell me why UL-L-Kaplan counts Leisure Learning Class attendees (such as how to make gumbo, painting bayous, etc) as "Actual" students? I mean c'mon - yes they actually count them among the (+) or (-) 17,000 students. What a joke! Is the school that desperate to appear to be something its not. Couillion!

It also taught you how to chase sheep, goats, dogs, and cattle. Also eaTme people have mass ceremonies where they teach each other to be a cult where the bend over and make strange noises while trying to shite in Kyle Field during football games.

Yes I lived there to for 10 years and finally retired to get away from the idiot Agnots.
