Congrats you are cool. You left at halftime and missed a great comeback. Pat yourself on the back. I stayed and had a great time.

I was hoping that someone would start this thread. I know several people who had tickets and didn't even bother going to the game. Tried to give the tickets away, but no takers.

You are to be commended for attending the game and staying all the way to half time. Better than many.

I didn't go to the game, but I listened to the entire game, which was painful with Hawthorne's clueless play-by-play. Had I gone to the game, I would have imagined that I would have left after Troy scored to go up 31-3.

I agree that it doesn't mean you aren't a "true" fan if you left early. LSU should have never been in the position of having to overcome a 28-point deficit, but they did, and kudos to them for doing so.

You are free to do whatever you want, but others are free to call you what you are. YOU FCKN SUCK. YOU AND MANY OTHERS JUST LIKE YOU. WHATEVER YOUR JUSTIFICATION MATTERS NOT TO ME. You don't have to go to class to be a student. You are just delaying the learning for when you take the test later.

When are you going to "make up" for the lack of support for your team?

Nothing against leaving early, but to come back at the after the fact just to proclaim that you are just as big a fan leaving early as those who stayed the whole game just because you were cold is bullshite. That weather wasn't just around your seat, everyone had to suffer the same thing.

But the difference is some wanted to stay to show support for the team.

This argument holds water if anyone said you couldn't go. But being a fan means just a little more than being able to say "Hey, I put money down and bought season tickets."
