I would like to know the back story on that last gif with the guy with the sword being pushed down.

Different but fairly similar story:
I don't remember all of the facts, but I think in the early 2000s, Nebraska played at College Station. Nebraska got down and stormed back in the 4th quarter. I think maybe the Huskers scored on the final play to win and some of the Children of the Corn faithful stormed the field to celebrate with their team. One of the ROTC guys hit the fan and I think one of the Nebraska linebackers turned the lights out on the A&M ROTC guy.

this happened back in the 80's in the SWC. Member of cadet corp who patrols the sideline pulled his sword on SMU cheerleaders. This was back in the pony express days. I think 1982.
