It's official........
Adam Henry is in his fifth year with the Raiders, the third in his present capacity, coaching the Silver and Black’s tight ends. Last year, Henry's unit once again featured the team's leading receiver, Pro Bowl TE Zach Miller. Miller caught 60 passes for 685 yards and 5 TDs and was selected to play in his first Pro Bowl. In 2009, Henry coached a tight ends unit that included the team’s leading receiver, Zach Miller, who logged career highs in receptions (66) and receiving yards (805). In 2009, Miller became the first Raiders tight end since Todd Christensen (1982-86) to lead the Raiders in receiving in back-to-back seasons. Henry spent his first two years with the Raiders as an offensive quality control assistant. Before joining the Raiders, Henry was an assistant head coach, offensive coordinator and receivers coach at McNeese State University. Henry spent 10 seasons at McNeese State, where he coached several NFL players, conference players of the year and the school’s all-time leading receiver. One of his receivers was named the team’s most valuable player for five seasons. Henry, 38, also served a coaching internship with Cleveland. The Beaumont, Texas native was an all-conference wide receiver at McNeese State and remains in the school’s all-time top-10 among receivers. He signed with New Orleans as a free agent in 1994 and also spent training camp and the preseason with the Saints in 1995 and 1996. He was on the Saints practice squad in 1995. Henry has a master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Instructional Technology. He has three children: Darian, Kynidee and Ava.

I will say this: When Les makes a mistake, it DOES cost a big game or a season. BUT he always seems to MAKE THE CORRECTION.
From first look, Henry seems to be a coach that gets a lot of production out of his players. Hopefully, we will see a much more productive offense next year, especially in our passing game!!!
