It is obvious that Shep and PP are the clear leaders on defense, but the absence of leadership on offense has proven to be costly. They don't play with any passion or authority. Hopefully, RS can take over the role because JJ doesn't seem like he can handle it.

There are several people who it should be, but none have stepped up to the plate. Right now the only one who seems to have the personality is RS, but who knows if he's going to step up and take it.

I personally think that Les has held RS back. If he can get the chance I believe he will be the clearcut leader at QB even though he is not considered the QB for now. I believe he will be the QB if LSU is to be a contender for the SEC and beyond. A true leader is not made they are given the chance to demonstrate their ability to lead. If Les wants to keep this job he will be forced to let RS be the leader he was recruited for, then the rest will be up to RS in how bad he wants it. That may very well be the one thing that Les wants RS to do is show him how bad he wants it. Then the limit is up to how far the team wants to go.

If you have to ask who the "clear-cut" leader is then your stupid... If its in question they are not clear-cut.

If you are asking who we THINK the leader on offense is thats a different story...

I'm hopin that article I read about Ridley on here a week or so ago was accurate. It sounded like Ridley was really wanting to become a leader this year.

There is no offensive leader. The QB's should be the leader, but JJ doesn't have what it takes.

I am sure you are correct. However, he better learn that stomping around pointing at himself after a 5 yard gain is not leadership, it is a sure way to an unsportsmanlike penalty.

Lonergan. Everybody follows Lonergan, so he is the leader.

f you have to ask who the "clear-cut" leader is then your stupid.

You've cleared this up quite nicely. You're clearly the stupid one.

You would hope it would be JJ, but it is not. For the guy who said RS, COME ON MAN, how many downs has he played in?

I say TT at the moment, but Ford, Murphy, or Ridley later during the year depending on who steps up the most.
