Off season strength training...

I'm curious if anyone has an idea on how LSU, or other top teams structures their workouts in the off-season now?
The strength and size difference in only one year, and sometimes less, is truly staggering with many players at the top schools.
I'm sure the latest nutritional science is crucial, but what kind of workouts do players of top programs participate in during the off-season?
It must be diverse as it can't be all about weights, they need endurance, flexibility, and explosiveness as well.
Just curious.

A lot of it is nutrition. Many of the recruits aren't always from the wealthiest of demographics and so when they arrive on campus, they're working out but they're also eating right and eating a lot

I don't think wealth has anything to do with it. They're eating...just not eating properly.

Many of these guys come from poor families and they can only afford fast food sometimes, and that's not great for one's health. It is a factor.

Fast food is more expensive than buying grocery food. It's their choice. It's not economics. But they've probably never been on a consistent, nutritional meal plan. So I get your point. Go Tigers.

I would say it's less "fast food" and more "junk food".....I mean you can feed a family for dinner with cheap frozen chicken nuggets and a big bag of potato chips.....but nutritionally, it doesn't offer much....

A 10 lb bag of beans or a big mac meal? hmm which one goes farther? When done right, the beans are way better, too.

But someone has to prepare and cook the beans. Fast food is easier. Not better for you but easier.
