If they had a better ball system and people helping out more they could have put up at least another 5 catches! Odell had to pass him the balls back at one point. That took up valuable time

Drew should pitch for the HR derby. When he got warm, he was hitting center mass every time.

I wonder if he could groove a baseball like that.

Only 10 yards apart? Lame. This record will go down pretty quick

Um, ok.

I just grabbed my 7 year old and we did 41 in 60 seconds.

See how this works?

The job is to catch the ball with only one hand. If it's so easy for you and your 10 year old to do this, with a regulation NFL football, then I can't wait to see him suit up for the Tigers in 8 years.

No, you and your son could not.

Sorry to inform you of that.

10 in 1 minute with an endless supply of balls really wouldn't be that far fetched.

If only there was a device everyone carried that could be used as proof. Like a cell phone with a camera.

Nah, that's just crazy

Doc did you watch that video? lol

Doc must be unathletic. Really not that hard.

It's not farfetched until you throw in that it's a 10 year old. Think of hand size here.

And in the video you posted, the dude in the red ski cap "traps" just about every ball that comes to him against his body.

My 7 year old isn't a super athlete, no, but the bigger problem would be that his hands aren't big enough to control an NFL-sized football for one-handed catches. OBJ has freak-sized hands. That's the main reason he can do this.

Maybe to someone unathletic that sounds like an incredible feat (10, not 40 or whatever OBJ had) but I know for sure I could catch 10 one handed passes in a row with Drew Brees throwing me the ball....

Yes, I did. The dude in the red traps nearly every ball that comes to him against his body or steadies it with his other hand.

What does athleticism have to do with this? Brees and OBJ were standing still, with no "defense." They weren't using much in the way of athleticism to accomplish this feat. The hard part is actually catching a ball and controlling it with one hand. An NFL football is large, and if you have smaller hands it's harder to grip a ball in motion like that.

Lol dude I think you obviously just suck at sports. It's not that flipping hard. And I just watched that video and can everyone else attest to the fact that that dude never once trapped it against his body, his back was just blocking his catching hand. Plus he wasn't "steadying the ball with his other hand" you silly person you. They were pitching and catching the same ball what do you expect them to do, catch it and just toss it back with the same hand? They were just steadying the ball to throw it after they catched it haha. You are making way to much of a simple feat that any athletic person can accomplish.

He trapped a bit of them, but he still caught a good bit of them clean without using a 2nd hand or the body. They were also going for speed and throwing the ball harder than if they had more balls. Would easily have 10 in a minute.

We practiced these catches all the time as kids with a NFL ball. Also, a NFL ball would be easier than a college ball

NFL footballs are easier to throw and catch
