The team needs to do the redeeming. OBJ didn't lose the game. He was but one factor and if we had done better as a team, it wouldn't have mattered so much. You can't pin a loss on one person.

Among other things. Same with the UGA game. OBJ didn't lose that one either. People need to stop putting the blame on one player. Single plays don't matter if the team is performing. One person doesn't get you into crunch situations. Sacks, an interception, missed tackles...all of that puts you where you end up. One play does not.

I never put all the blame on him. The entire o was crap at uf last year. He just had the back breaking crucial play. Les,stud and the whole o were at fault for uf. Uga was the same but it was chief and his d along with his muffed punt.

Sorry, but one play can win or lose a game for you.

Are you a woman or something?

So you are saying that the Beckham fumble(s) was/were the one play(s) that lost the game? Get out of here.

If I remember correctly, this was the game last year that Brian Greise said on CBS and diagrammed how it was basically impossible to move the ball when all we run is two 10 yard out routes on both sides with no TE route...I even think he gave a number of times we ran the same play...18 or something crazy like that..someone find it please...

Just saying that the loss was not at all only on OBJ's fumble. I said it earlier in the week, Tigers are about to beat ole Florida's busted arse.

When does a single play matter? Why did we only have 6 points in the FL game? Oh, I forgot. It was because OBJ played badly. No other reasons.

So, if we're up by 50 in a game and OBJ fumbles, are we going to revisit that fumble the following year before the game and have umpteen threads on redemption? Is the press going to bring it up in every story?

It's daft to think otherwise.

This is so stupid dude. That does nothing. Over 100 yards and a TD with a long return. Book it!

Maybe if the whole team were playing good and that one mistake led to the loss, but otherwise, that way of thinking is stupid. Our defense was manhandled against UGA on the ground and the air. Had Gurley not been injured, they might not have punted all game.

It's different when the other team is a mirror image of you. It matters, turnovers can win or lose you a ball game. Yeah if Gurely would have kept playing it would have been a long day but the fact is he got hurt and that's part of the game just like muffing punts are.

That score put us away.

I had forgotten that was OBJ. I freaked out at the Indian Pass Raw Bar. Not pretty.
