Hard to think of all the ways this post is both meaningless and needless.

No he is just making the obvious change any competent coach would do.

One upcoming coaching change may not be popular but it needs to happen.

This is a prime example of looking for things to whine about.

I guess knowing the offense has to change was just bc the rant says so too, huh?

Bc when Miles was coach all we heard was how any average coach would be able to see what's wrong with the team. Now that O is in charge it's just because he reads the rant... you people

The strategy should show your teams strength. We had a good Defense and the worst Special Teams I've seen in a long time, so kick it out of the end zone, and play to your strengths....But no one could see this???????

putting unnecessary pressure on your defense to come up with stop that could have been prevented simply by having a kicker that reach the damn end zone on a consistent basis unlike what we have had the past few seasons

Cameron Gamble would routinely kick the ball out of the back of the end zone in high school. You can watch his high lights. He consistently kicks the ball over 70 yards. In high school, that puts the ball at the very back of the end zone at least. In college that puts it five yards deep at least. He clearly was coached in college (by BDP) to try to spot it off the tee to allow for maximum coverage by changing the height and trajectory of the kicks.

A lot of the time the coverage teams did tackle the return man inside the 20 this year. One of the advantages to kicking it out of the end zone is that it lowers the chance for injury.

I think O has a lot of common sense myself. He's not going to allow a weak link in the chain to destroy his career.
