#LSU OL combos clearing up. At scrimmage, it was:
- LT Malone
- LG Clapp
- C Pocic
- RG Boutte
- RT Toby/Maea rotation

How do you guys like this line? I personally think it has a good mixture of athleticism/mobility combined with ugly/beefy

Leonard is going to rush for 2000 yards behind that line.

Is Maea going to start in the LT spot eventually or did KJ just snag it from him?

Starting to look like KJ won the spot. Don't think Maea was ever a good option at LT, anyway.

On paper, may be the best starting line up I have seen in my lifetime, and I am old.

Think Teuhema slips back in at LG pushing Clapp over to RG, Weathersby stays at RT. We kind of went through this song and dance with Boutte last year.

I think Maea will slide into the starting lineup as well, but not right away. For Wisconsin, I think we see that line and Maea being the 6th man.

I like the line, but I'm just really surprised Pocic isn't sliding over to LT. Thought for sure he was coming back to move outside.

Wonder if it's him not being as good out there or no one else being able to step up at C. No doubt he'd do what's best for the unit and stay inside if needed. Just seems built for that LT spot though.

Looking forward to see what Malone can do though.

Hopefully Weathersby is ready to take over at RT so Maea can potentially move back inside to G. Think that would put our best 5 on the field.

I gave up this dream long ago. Seems the coaches didnt feel anyone could replace Pocic at center. Not exactly usual to have a 6'7 300 pound super athletic center, but I sure hope KJ can get us through the season.

Unless his footwork & quickness have drastically improved over last year Boutte is the biggest question mark.

What's the story with Chidi? Does he need another year to develop?

He doesn't seem to have that nasty attitude that is usually needed to be an OLman...jmho
