I speak for the rest of us who have functioning brains. Seriously, just fricking stop. It's over. Stop calling in to local radio, stop with your Facebook posts, and definitely stop with your goddamn threads on this board.

I wanted someone esle but started buying into the hire a couple of months ago. I was taking a cautiously optimistic approach to the hire. I'm now off the bandwagon and don't ever foresee getting back on. It took me several years to jump off of the Miles bandwagon. Great job, Coach O'! You've already topped Miles on my disappointment meter.

I wiped too many times yesterday, can't tell whether I was too aggressive or not aggressive enough bc I still kept pulling poop yet wore my hole so raw that I had to borrow some of my kid's Boudreaux paste.

A few local radio hosts are as much to blame for this as anyone. They were pumping O as a viable candidate from Day 1 of his interim spot. They took their marching orders from Alleva, they like O personally because he was always a friend to the local radio sports talk channel, and then he wooed the alumni with all out access. They sold the Orgeron candidacy to the fan base and far too many bought into it.
All of them need to own this hire and the inevitable downturn the LSU program will take over the next few years. It happened at Tennessee, Texas, USC, and many other places. You can't whiff on a head coaching hire.

I tried to be optimistic as well, about O. But let's just say that your gut instinct (about O being the guy) was really, really off base
