Nebraska can win if Wisconsin can win B1G championships. Nebraska has the $ and facilities to compete. Development will just be key. They'll have to lock down KS, MO, CO, and NE which should net them 5-6 3* or higher players a year. Then hit the KS Jucos really hard and cherry pick a few 3* and 4* from TX, CA, OH, IL, and FL.
It's not impossible or hopeless like some people make it out to be. Of course UT and UF have shown us that recruiting 5* isn't necessarily the key to success either. Good coaching, good eye for talent, and development are much more important.

So that brings me to why in the hell is he the AD? Basically we would pay to fire a coach, then pay a consulting firm, then pay the next coach. Most people bring up we pay Miles too much money. So we are going to spend even more money on something that isnt a sure fire thing? Makes total sense.

Where did i say ANYTHING about Sabans time at LSU. My post simply pointed out that people often forgive Les turning 13-0 seasons into 10-2 or 9-3 seasons because "Hey, they guy won the title" when in fact, that very season, he turned a 13-0 season into a 2 loss season. He was very fortunate. The difference between a failed season and his golden season is completely circumstantial and has nothing to do with our performance. Those are facts.

Being fair, however, Pelini never had better than a 10 win season, never got to a better bowl than the Gator or Cap One, and much less never competed for a national championship. AGAINST LESSER OPPONENTS THAN IN THE SEC.
