Me and you carried that torch heavily right after the game.

And it still didn't happen. Holy shite.

What's more embarrassing the FLA game or the coaching hire

I'm very surprised he remained as an option, much less now our HC, with that defeat. Players make mistakes, is part of the game, but it sure felt like and looked like vintage Les Miles.

What's embarrassing is that Coach O let Leonard Fournette dictate that he was going to play while he was hurt, that was a selfish move my Fournett

What's embarrassing is that people blamed O for the gameplan being terrible when LSU outgained Florida 432–289, won the time of the possession by over eight minutes and converted seven of 14 third downs while holding the Gators to four of 13.

Guice fumbled on first-and-goal from the Florida seven-yard line in the second quarter. Then, on the opening drive of the second half, Growden fumbled the snap on a field goal and tossed an incomplete prayer into the end zone for a turnover on downs.

Get ready for a lot more of it.

With O, I'm feeling the need to lower our expectations

Please hurry up and lower them, so you won't disappointed if don't win the playoff every year, and we won't have to put up with your crying like a spoiled child.

The Florida loss is NOT O's fault. As another poster pointed out, we moved the ball pretty well, but turnovers killed us. Those were not the result of bad play calls or poor decisions by coaches. They were mistakes by 18-22 year olds.

Had ANY of those turnovers not occurred, then LSU would have likely been needing only a FG to go to OT.

Had any of those turnovers not occurred, we'd have beaten Florida in regulation easily and, until the committee inevitably fricked us ragged, would be slotted for the Sugar Bowl.

It was an embarrassment. It showed we have no OC. Alleva hired Coach O because Jimbo wanted a lifetime contract and Herman wanted his dream job meaning neither of them wanted the LSU job as bad as Coach O. So now we get Oregeron, with arguably the best DC and OC in college football with a head coach the players want. We should be a lot better next year! If it all goes south we make another change without a huge financial loss on the head coach. I'm guessing and hoping Alleva's job is riding on this hire.

Well said. If I had to rank all four losses, the Florida loss was most disturbing to me. We drove up and down the field all day, made 5 trips into their red zone and only scored 10 points. There where some moments in the TAMU first half where LSU's offense appeared to be repeating the mistakes of the Florida game, but fortunately they turned it around.

Emsminger did an admirable job with what he was given, overall, and it sounds like he burned a lot of midnight oil along the way. Glad he is back to coaching the TEs, though, and looking forward to the new OC announcement.

And that was a POSITIVE moment on the Coach O resume. Alleva and big donors loved his grit running it 4 straight times up the middle, including the JD Moore handoff. Fantastic shite.

Did you even watch the game? LSU had 423 yards against a very good defensive team. The mix of play calls and personnel was very good for most of the game. In fact, 9 different receivers caught the ball.

The game was lost on two fumbles and a screwed up play by a RB.

Can't blame it on O & Aranda for Florida or anything this season. Defense played exceptional football and just stayed on the field too long, they had basically no support on the scoreboard. That's what we're lacking.

An interception, a half a second and a busted play all at the end of those games gave us 3 losses...

we should be 10-1....sad for the team and final 4 hopes we lost all in virtually 3 plays

Or does O & the Binder have you already in a bent over position ready to accept awful losses against shitty teams at home?
I think that this may already be the case. I can see it now. The coordinators will always get the heat when things don't go our way. When we play well, O is our Cajun savior.
