I remember the defense was a disaster in 2008, and Miles hired Chavis the next year, so I'm not terribly worried that we'd be stuck with a bad DC (if it turns out that way ) for years.

Well, for highly rated recruiting classes, they certainly seem to have gaps in classes, which have rarely been filled by the next class. Ie, OL, then LB,QB and DT. Maybe these guys, especially Steele, will be better to recognize and fill gaps before they become issues. At least they won't be sitting around when the other staff members are out busting arse.

You are correct my dear Tiger Brother but did want to come here and say I was wrong and glad that I was and will be rooting for our dear Tigers although you all want hear from me for a year. Good Bye Dear Tiger Fans until next year and I will gladly serve self imposed 1 year ban but will eat my crow and pull for our Tigers and know that Ogeron will bring a boost to a less than excited program over the last year. Thank you Displaced but again I am Happy for the Tigers and believe it or not even Happy for Miles because I do believe he pulled the ole rabbit out of the hat.

I'm happy about O, not sure about Steele. Not excited or pissed. I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm not gonna down someone for what they did somewhere else. If he sucks this year, then I'll doubt the hire.
