I wouldn't be shocked if they put Bama in there over LSU.....in fact, I'd honestly prefer that they did. They may leave bama out though trying to set it up so that Bama can make a huge splash should they win against LSU. But for me...I'd be fine with them leaving LSU out. We are going to have to beat bama anyway....might give LSU that extra edge they need from being disrespected. JMO

Still don't get how OSU is such a solid #1 by most people's estimate.

As I said...they will likely put LSU in there and set it up so that if Bama wins, they will make some noise. I'd still prefer they put Bama in there and leave LSU out.....disrespect LSU....it honestly doesn't matter which one they put there right now.

where do you think lines come from? the media?

USC was a 6.5 pt favorite over Utah this weekend who was ranked #3... the line was correct, vegas knows whats up

if Bama is a 7 pt favorite over us it means that most people think they will win the game, people with lots of money that make a living off of betting on games, which means they are right a lot

but regarding the playoff ranking, there is no possible way Bama will be ranked ahead of us, to this point we have done more and have not lost a game. we will be #2 in the playoff committee rankings, behind Clemson

I would guess their criteria is to get the best 4 teams in the playoff...would you agree with this? So do you think it's a stretch, whether true or not, that the majority of the media thinks Alabama is a top 4 team in terms of best teams in football? Do you think it's possible that the selection members believe bama is a top 4 team?

My personal opinion is that they do believe that, but won't put them up there...yet. They understand there is plenty of time if Bama keeps on winning. Also, IDGAF who is in there this first week....all LSU has to do is win and they are in. Period.

Vegas lines, public sentiment...I mean if there was a poll out there in the country right now...asking who is the better team...between bama and LSU...who do you think would win? I'll give you a hint...it wouldn't be the good guys.

Other than that.....WHY THE frick DOES IT MATTER right now....just win and everything else will take care of itself. This first release means absolutely dick....seriously, it doesn't....as it relates to LSU.
