Beggars can't be choosers.

We are 8-4 and barely in the top 25. We aren't going to have our choice of prime time bowls.

It's who we are now. Largely irrelevant.

No offense, but I think people put too much stock in this "Big Name" crap. Notre Dame sucks, and losing to them would be an utter embarrassment. At least UT would've been a team that finished the season at 4-2 and improving overall as opposed to a team that finished the season 1-5 and completely collapsing.

I love people that think beating a shitty team that used to be a powerhouse = great for LSU.

Beating a 6-6 Texas wouldn't impress anyone.

And beating a 7-5 nd will?

It being in Nashville is more exciting than the game itself IMO.
Best guys vacation I took was to there.

You're the one arguing for Texas, who hasn't been relevant in years.

Not arguing for Texas, but just comparing the idiotic support for playing against Notre Dame like this game will mean anything positive for LSU.

Notre Dame sucks. Nashville may be a cool city, but LSU will not have a good turnout. Watch.

Nashville is a fun place to be a tourist.
This game is less than exciting for me as LSU fan - don't know how ND fans feel. Bad time, mid afternoon work day.

Really? Can't these bowl people do better scheduling their showcase event?

"So a crappy bowl against a team that has collapsed for the second half of the season on a Tuesday workday that is at 2 PM outdoors in December?

Wow, how crappy can this season get"
