Typical fan stuff. Poor people drink the Green media koolaid of preseason and rent a win hype. ND seems to get a larger dose due to the continued unwarranted media darlings they are. Ive never understood why people believe the BS the media spews. I can see why ND fans could be victimized by this hype. I feel bad for them in a way.
Easy cure, believe what you see and not the media hype.

LSU will demolish ND. They collapsed the second half of the season. Anything less than a ten point win would be mildly disappointing.
theres certainly no guarantee LSU will blow them out. In fact I'd say our chances of winning are only 50-50. Much less a blow out. I don't think it will happen.

So if LSU does demolish a collapsed ND based on your assessment, help us understand exactly what of football significance will we have accomplished in so doing?

Iowa actually had a defense, a damn good one. And AJ had one series of experience. We are going in dry on ND

He still plays like he only had one series of experience.

I like this guy's style.

"Screw all of that "ND's going to get steamrolled" nonsense. Cheer for the damn team you filthy bastards! Would hate to go to war with some of you thumb-sucking, fetal position-lying, quitters. It's one game. ND can get up for one game and propel themselves for a successful season next year. Stop acting like a bunch of pussified rah-rahs, cowering to the big bad LSU team. 8 practices? What's the big deal? Have you actually gone to a major D1 football practice before? We're not talking about your YMCA ball scratching half hour basketball practice where you sit around and talk about the flex offense with balding insurance salesmen. Slap on some vaginex and tighten your damn faith. It's laughable the amount of lemmings on here who simply follow suit... "

Yeah, that guy should post that to these rantards on here.

I don't know why ND fans are so negative.

No matter what the score was, Iowa was never a threat to win that game.

You mean the same way that Notre Dame DEMOLISHED Michigan 31-0!! Glad to see that you're still butt-hurt after that game!!

By the way, how are Michigan's bowl preparations going?

Notre Dame had a poor second half of the season but I believe Kelly will have them well prepared to play this bowl game. It may be closer than some here think.

I'd like to see LSU win big and jump start the 2015 season.

I don't think this game can do really do much for the program besides beating the almighty ND. If we only win by 3, it won't be the ND played well, it will be that LSU got lucky. Blow them out, then its because ND is awful.

Still can't wait to watch us beat them again though!

I can be negative about aspects of the team and still always support them. The folks on here that get spun up because someone's opinion doesn't conform to theirs is ridiculous.

there it is

LSU is in a no win situation with this game

LSU destroys ND = who cares, its ND

LSU barely wins = LSU should have destroyed ND! Its ND! Fire everyone!

LSU loses = mass suicide

Like LSU was going to dominate Iowa

Actually they pretty much did.

LSU scored on their first drive to make it 7-0, the scored again in the 2nd for a 14-0 lead and held Iowa to 5 3 and outs in the first half.

The score was 14-0 midway through the 3rd qtr, when Iowa returned an INT to the LSU 1 and scored from there to make it 14-7. LSU then got another score to go up 21-7 and Iowa didn't score again until under 2 minutes to go. So Iowa got all of two scores, one after a 71 yard INT return, and the other in garbage time.

The game was never in doubt. You don't have to win 77-0 for domination, all you have to do is keep the other team from even threatening to take the lead which is what LSU did. Jeremy Hill ran for over 200 yards. Miles did NOT want to show up Ferentz.

Notre Dame is the only school that has just not gone to bowl because they didn't think it was the right move for the program...no one else does that so it has given their snivelly fan base the idea that it is always an option...
Brian Kelly realizes it's important...
I really prefer our crazy Les hating 'tard fans over these cowards...

Not quite, the same year as Notre Dame's first bowl game in 45 years, the LSU Tigers decided not to go to a bowl.
