Aside from the call at the plate with freeman, the umpires have been very good and very consistent tonight

The call at the plate was correct. The strike zone is actually small tonight. Home fans will always boo and bitch.

I hear every close pitch called against them get booed...that's really no different than what is expected anywhere else.

I was in the stands tonight, the grandstand area around mostly State fans. They did bitch about the umps calls more than folks at the Box. ALL the State fans around me went to great lengths to tell me that the SEC umps always favor LSU. Sounded like LSU football fans saying SEC refs always favor Alabama! :-)
