How many times did your college team play in the college world series?

It may have been before my time there. Brian Shoop was my coach. He is currently the UAB coach.

I coach 7/8 girls softball and this is one of the biggest things I impress upon them.

You always hustle down the line and you ALWAYS run THROUGH first base. I teach them simply: If you stop at first, you have to slow down in order to stop on the base. That slowing down is often the difference between out and safe.

We had the NAIA version and the closest we got was the regionals. BSC did win the NAIA World Series a few years after I was gone. They had a very good run of wins during Brian Shoops tenure there.

I don't recall playing any games at that park.

Did you just say you ran through first even on a walk? God I bet you're awful to be around

Robertson is a major disappointment in the cws so far. He has done nothing but make errors and get out at the plate. He dyed his damn hair because he's such an attention whore and hasn't done anything in the cws to get any attention. I'm not so sure I won't be glad when Kramer is gone with all the attention he and his mom get and take away from the team. Idk, I could be overreacting but he needs to make a damn play for his team instead of worrying about his frickin queer hairstyles and coloring. Frickin douche.

I'm not saying it was the "home" park. Just that BSU hosted some games there. They were midweek games, fwiw.

We didn't run through first on a walk but we did run hard to first after a walk.

Baseball players aren't real athletes bud. It might as well be bowling.

I remember watching a MLB the other week. The guy pop up to the pitcher and immediately started walking back to the dugout. The infield ended up dropping it. Never give up on a play

MS State made it past USM to the super regional largely because of a similar play, but State ran it out. State batter popped up to very shallow right. Three USM players stood under it but somehow watched it hit the ground. State batter would have been suicidal, or murdered by his coach, if he had not run it out.

I went back and watched the play. It was poor effort, pure and simple, by a frustrated Kramer.

I don't care what level of baseball OP played, he is right, running out plays is basic baseball. I don't even get the debate. Does anyone on here think Kramer should not have run hard to force the throw?

Thank You paper tiger. Baseball is baseball and the effort playing the game should be taught early and done so at every level of the game.

I played in the central area youth league and we always ran through first

Often stole second after a walk. Hustled down to first, noticed the pitcher not paying attention and sprinted to second before he could look up.
