Yeah, I agree. I have a hard time believing he's better than Hurts, Paterson, or the kid from Arky. I've watched that State Vs LA Tech and I don't know why ppl are so worried about them.

If we play a decent game. We win.

They're going to need him to be Dak to win this one.

He'll get a couple of 10-12 TD gains. But for the most part, we've got too much DL/LB speed for him to run wild.

Tigers cover at least.

He's good enough to do some damage but I don't think he's a game changer like Dak was.

Nightmares.

I don't think he's that fast though, is he? And Matt could throw the ball a bit better.

And had 19 years of eligibility.

He's a Tebow-ish type QB in that Offense

Etling had more rushing yards than he did in our game last year so...

I loathed Matt Jones. It seemed like he was moving in slow motion because of his long strides, but nobody could catch him. He also had some magic up his sleeves lucking up on big plays when they needed it.

I say load the box and make him beat us with his arm, which I don't think he can do. Heck, we may be able to stop their run game with just 7 in the box. If we play like we did against BYU, I don't think they can score many points against us.

It's his upside that people are so high on. Frankly, he isn't there yet, still has a lot of developing to do. But he is stupid fast at 6'5", will straight up pull away from DB's. Has an incredible arm, capable of making all the throws.

Thing is, for us to win these types of games consistently, he has to be able to move the chains when it's just him getting it done. Be able to stand in the pocket, and make drives happen as a pocket passer. To be completely honest, I'm just not sure he's there yet.

In summary, unless he has more to bring than I've seen so far, he can have a good game but he needs our RB's to have success for that to happen. He needs Williams to be for him what Robinson was for Dak in '14.

Yet Dak was 1-2 against LSU.
