Come on...This guy frightens me when he's in the game. I know the kid is trying and I really don't want to bash him but he came close to losing both the MSU and this game for us. Dude needs serious practice on passing drills and the free throw line. I was glad to see him hit those 2 after the 2 misses. I almost fainted from holding my breath.

Farrer was shooting better than 80% from the line this season before the last two games. The pressure just got to him today and vs. MSU.

He actually helped us in several games last year, most notably a win in Gainesville.

And yes he seems to have regressed a bit this year and yes he scares me at times on the court.

But he contributed to the victory tonight. His defense down the stretch was big and he contributed 3 assists so I'll give him a break tonight. He earned it.

I suspect you were not at the game and your view of the game was limited by the TV screen shot. If you had gone to teh game you would ralize that Farrer shut oput David Huertas for about the final eight minutes of the game after he had scored 15 earlier. This was probably the game changing move.

i dont want to bash him but jesus you can't do what he did today and turn the damn ball over with 17 seconds on the clock. Its not all his fault though, the other players should know to not let him handle the ball.

Charlie Thompson and Ross Neltner laugh at both of those losers.

I was at the game, and that is what I saw too. I remarked to my friend that TJ tried alot of player combos tonight, but no one really covered Huertas very well until Farrer came in, then he shut hime down, and helped to allow the 19-4 run that won the game.

Yeah, he had Hueratas really frustrated to the point he forced up an airball at a crucial point toward the end. You can see the talent that led Billy Donovan to sign him.

he did screw up some at the end, but he played really good D on Huertas for the last 10 minutes or so. he was in when we made the big run so i wouldn't say that he almost cost us the game.

But they didn't sign up for the team because they didn't want to be show-offs, right?

his d was good but he did almost cost us the game bc he can't handle pressure. i like the effort he puts forth but we can't have him missing free throws and turning it over.

His Defense was excellent in the last 6-7 minutes of the game, but offensively he narrows us down to 4 players because he has no scoring ability. He just doesn't seem to have confidence to try and score or draw a foul.

its fine that he cant score he doesn't need to do that for us. the problem with him on o is turnovers. even when he doesn't turn it over its like he is scared. He would be fine if he just never touched the ball and just set screens all over.

i don't agree with this because teams aren't going to focus on him defensively and it'll allow another player to cheat on some one else. It would also allow a defensive guy to really put pressure on him causing the TO's you were discussing because he can't create a shot for himself and he rarely puts the ball on the floor. If he'd have confidence to shoot or put the ball on the floor his turnover margin would probably decrease. His being afraid to results in turnovers.
