I was just about to start a post S.

Regardless of whatever differences fans have here, we get to play a game tonight. I won't be at the PMAC, but I know my brethren will be. Let's roll. Hopefully rds starts the game thread.

Now... everyone derail the topic.

Too many still fawning over Will Wade who actually get to coach in the NCAA tourney this season

Oh look, Will Wade was brought up by a McMahon lover. And next the rest of the McMahon lovers will be in here to tell us how tired they are of people bringing up Wade.

three downvotes within minutes of a positive post about an LSU event. That just reaffirms how many people on here aren't LSU fans at all.

One last plea to see at least one 4-minute stretch where we play Fountain and Reed together.

The only way that happens is if everyone is hitting their 3's and we are dominating the boards. Only been a couple of games when both of those happened at the same time.

No 7 footers on North Texas so maybe McMahon won’t feel like he has to have either Baker or Dean on the floor at all times.

It's the end of the season, so why not. But that also could be a disaster of awful ballhandling.

Baker was the leading scorer in the last game and took twice as many FGs as anyone else. He was 50% on those FGs...only one of which was a 3. This is one of those matchups that favor Baker because NTU doesn't really have a big to match him. Still, if he's not making shots and clumsily turning the ball over to start the game I hope McMahon has a quick hook. His utterly absurd decision to leave Dean on the bench for the first 8:00 of the second half vs. MSU, IMO, was the difference. LSU was +4 with Dean on the floor. They were -14 with Baker on the floor. In fact, the fact that he only substitutes Dean for Baker, and vice-versa allows a one one comparison. And the data clearly shows that the team, more often than not, performed better with Dean on the floor.

LSU v. Florida

With Dean on the floor (+13). With Baker (-15)

LSU v Alabama (2nd time)

With Dean on the floor (+2). With Baker (-21)

LSU v. Missouri

With Dean on the floor (+15). With Baker (-12)

LSU v. South Carolina

With Dean on the floor (+3). With Baker (-2)

LSU v. Tennessee

With Dean on the floor (-2). With Baker (-14)

LSU v. Georgia (game 2)

With Dean on the floor (+7). With Baker (-6)

Granted, I'm just a guy with a computer. But the coaches are getting the same stats. If I, and others are seeing it, shouldn't the coaches be seeing it too?

LSU is the better team. They SHOULD win the game if (1) they are motivated to play in front of what may be the smallest crowd since December and (2) they don't handle the ball like they are in a Three Stooges video.

North Texas has one of the best, if not THE best, music departments in the country. Better not take them lightly.
