And does anyone really think JJ makes that miraculous of a transformation to the NFL? He is not an NFL starter.

For whatever reason, and I'm certainly one that thinks SOMETHING happened between Miles and Lee, Miles never went back to Lee

The confrontation took place after lee was pulled from the first Alabama game. Right as Miles took Jarrett out of the gam.

The one decision you CAN argue is why Les did not go to Lee in the NCG. I love Les, but for the life of me I have no idea why he didn't throw Lee in there - just to try something

and if Lee was locked in the bowels of the dog house, whey didnt Metz get a chanced to throw a ball.

Yeah, we all know he was a great college qb. It was the poor receivers, running backs, punting, defense and coaches that held him back.

I just hope we can continue to get qb's like JJ

And still did better than he was expected to do.

the skill set he showed in Indianapolis will probably be enough to see him drafted in April

If he gets drafted and makes a roster, then it means LSU has the worst offensive coaching staff in the history of football. I hope that isn't true.

Solid way to move the goal posts to bash the coaches.
I love this argument. So people wail on and continue to bitch about JJ and then use their arm chair quarterback scouting skills to determine that JJ will never have a chance at getting drafted. Yet when some scouts think he has an opportunity, you flip it around to some how try to make it into some type of coach bashing. The lsu fan base is definitely not short on morons. This thread shows it.

Or it just means that some team out there sees potential in him and hopes they can develop him.

But good job setting it up to where you have something to bitch about no matter the outcome.

Interesting, since that's not even how it happened. Lee threw a pick to end one series, and JJ went in the next series. There was no Miles pulling Jarrett out of the game.

Even if there were a confrontation, Lee deserved to be confronted after that pitiful, fraidy-cat effort.

Big difference between getting drafted and being on the roster in September. BIG difference. Joe McKnight barely made the Jets roster his first year, and he was a stud at USC. Not making an NFL roster doesn't mean that you suck, just means that you aren't good enough for the NFL. Not sure how JJ's game would translate to arena or the CFL, but let's just say I hope he studied hard so that he doesn't end up working at a car wash.

Who cares, some of you people seem jealous of him getting a chance and want him to fail. I hope he makes it to the NFL and get a chance to play just like I hope all LSU Tigers in any sport make it pro. Sheesh.

What's your point? That's one set of rankings from CBSSports. This thread was discussing an article from nfl.com about Jefferon's improved draft status. It was also mostly in response to those saying Jefferson was the worst performer at the combine.
