I will never forget that the ex- colts GM said he would touch him when Mathieu went into the draft. I can't stand when people make judgements about a kid they don't even know. I'm glad to see him do so well. I can only imagine how much better LSU would have been in 2012 with him. He was good for at least two more wins that season.

Tyrann Mathieu has one of the highest football IQ's I've ever witnessed.... and I'm getting up there in years.

So you are saying they would have won the national championship? I could see him making a play in either the Bama game or Florida game to change one of them from a loss to a win but you never know.

Kid is a prime example of what happens when a person realizes the team doesn't need him.
Amazing how they kick old habits and straighten up when a paycheck comes into the equation.

One of the Biggest diff between college ball and pro ball.

This is an example:

10. "Carter Folds In Georgia" - In 2004, LSU went to Athens, Georgia and found themselves in an ambush. After losing to LSU twice the year before, Georgia had this game circled on the calendar. They showed up in a big way and played a near flawless game. LSU could do nothing right. One play really summed up this misreable afternoon. Freshman receiver Xavier Carter received a kickoff and started to come out of the end zone. He then decided he wanted to kneel in the end zone. That would have been fine if Carter was still in the end zone but he wasn't. Instead, he kneeled down on the 1 yard line. Ugh.

Reminds me of a faster, more durable Bob Sanders that could cover infinitely better .
And Bob was a badass.
