Giants should trade for him back up Eli
Cut that Bum Carr
With the GMen's schedule they might need a Matt Flynn

I just saw a repeat of the NFL network show . They were praising Russell Wilson and critical of Flynn. Critical of T.O. The replays made Wilson look good, T.O. looked bad. Flynn didn't play-sore elbow. Looks like Flynn might be 3rd string or traded.

I think it was a dumb situation for Carrol to put himself in though. He wanted to have a QB competition, but he also went out and got Flynn. To me you do one or the other. Go get Flynn, or try to find a QB in the draft to battle Jackson for the job. It just sounds like a big waste of Flynns time when there were other teams he could have gone to when now he will likely end up somewhere else trying to hurry and learn a new system, and most likely end up as a backup again.

Yeah, it's not Flynn's fault at all. PC should have just given him the starting job from day one and Matt would not be in this mess (if you want to call making millions a mess).

$10 million

Say he keeps $4 million of that after agents and taxes. Plus with four years in the league already, he's qualified for the NFL pension. He's got a nest egg, a secure retirement, and his health intact. I'd call that a win. Go coach HS football or something.

There's competition for every spot in the NFL.

[quote] Miami also needs a qb. [quote]

Miami's head coach, Joe Philban (sp) is Flynn's former offensive coordinator. Unfortunately I saw this coming for Matt Flynn once Miami did not sign him, and Carrol decided to draft Russel Wilson. To me that showed that even ole Pete didn't really have confidence in Matt's ability to be a starter in the league.

personnel decisions....since Marino, they haven't made a solid decision yet.

He was the 6th QB taken in that draft. Let's not give them too much credit.

IF Pete wants to play a total rook on what he has accomplished in preseason then by all means do so, show us the coaching genius that you are.

Do not want. The Cards O-line is horrendous! He would get killed. I felt bad for Kolb and Skelton. It reminded me of the old Saints and Archie.

If Wilson is the starter, it will be hilarious when he has to play a real team.

I just think his play the last few weeks is fools gold.

Whatever happens, TO needs to go.

This and the guy has a sore elbow. If I have meaningful money tied up in him then frick the preseason. Let hum have a chance to heal for when the real thing comes. Besides, as a coach, I think PC alreadu knows what Matt can do.

Very unlikely Wilson keeps up this level of play in the regular season but he certainly has shown talent and potential that I don't think is fools gold.
