agree with you, except that the one with fins isn't even being let in the water. This has always been a major, inarguable fault, with Miles. He doesn't give the backups meaningful snaps with the game in hand.
No, the shallow end is practice. He was thrown in the deep end and almost drowned.
And there have been plenty of RS sophomores that have come in and played well with no prior experience. For the most part, game experience is trumped by practice simply based on the volume of reps.
I guarantee you Miles would have liked to get Harris in the past few games, but they have just been too close. He comes in against UK and throws a pick. No reason for the coaches to continue to let him throw to work it out, the game was in hand, he can work it out in practice.
The kid isn't being punished, he is a true freshmen qb, and is being treated like one. You don't hand your kid the keys to your Porsche the day he gets his license, especially if you have seen him grinding gears when supervised.

maybe so...but we've all seen how miles has handled QBs in the past in terms of PT and such. It doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy....sorry.

Both offensive and defensive lines will be basically gone. I still think we win 8-10 games but not SEC title or Naty.
I mean Godchaux and LaCouture aren't going anywhere so there's two starting DL back. Valentine has been practicing, Bain, Gilmore, Herron, Bower and Clark give me hope for the DL.
I won't disagree about the OL, but they have to play to get experience. I think it's a little harsh to say next year will be "gloomy" before we even see what the OL will look like.

You mean doesn't always think the backup is better? For the head coach, that would be a bit of a paradox.

is it Miles fault that QBs transfer now if they don't get to play? everyone wants to play, so if guys get beat out, they transfer how is that Miles fault

Both lines next year will be young and inexperienced.
Anyone see how long it took to get our lines adjusted this year?
Im just hoping for 9-10 wins next season but it looks a lil dark.

It is what it is. Coach Cam is one of the best in the business. He will only make these kids better. They both have talent and the want.
