I like the combination of a real qb and a team with a chip on its shoulder! What say you?!

This season was pretty damn fun, excluding the last game.

If it's more fun next year, it should be illegal.

everything will be better but LB. I'm expecting 2 WR to step it up next year that wasn't in play this year especially with an actually QB who can throw the ball. We will be great

I admit before the season i didnt think we would be playing for a MNC. Realistically i was hoping for a return trip to Dallas or the Sugar at best

But i also knew that we would be even more loaded for next season because of the QB position being solid for the 1st time since Flynn and all our talented soph defenders becoming jrs

with an injection of experience and Hatcher not being able to get in, it will balance out or be much better.

I gotta tell ya' I'm over the NC game and getting really pumped for 2012. A team with a chip on its shoulder sounds GREAT to go along with a coach with a chip on his shoulder. He's going to air it out to show all the dunder-heads that he's not just a one-trick pony and can do that too!!

When is the spring game?

Man, it's going to hard to top off those blow out wins to all those Top 20 teams we faced through out the entire season. Has to be one of the most exciting seasons ever (til the end). Next year? meh playing those cupcake teams...

Agreed. LB play should be the best in years next season.

Why does everybody think we will be so great at the qb position next year. All we have seen is a spring game.

2012 is all about Mett. He has tons of potential and has shown a lot in the few times we have seen him. But beyond his physical skills, I hope he has overcome his immaturity and really takes control of the team. We badly need a leader from the QB position.

Uh Mett actually was in a competition with Aaron Murray at Georgia and some reports had him ahead!

We had JJ down the stretch this year even average play at qb would be a huge improvement

You really have to ask this? When Mett was at UGA he was toe to toe with Murray for the starting QB spot.

Let me remind you that Murray has the second best passing yards in the SEC behind Tyler Wilson.

I would imagine any of the qbs on our team can do better than we did at that position down the stretch. That being said I hope JJ the best as an NFL tight end

NO way in hell next season would be more fun then this year.

I mean, we beat the snot out of the superpowered Oregon of the Pac-10 and the High flying offense of the WVU in the big east.

We will NOT be doing anything of the sort next year, just four cream puffs and our regular SEC schedule, most of which we play at home except for ATM. The only game I look forward to is a complete throttling of Alabama in both offense, defense and special teams. I want it to be like the Urban meyer revenge game against Georgia.

Really?!! More fun than 13-0 and playing in the championship game. I guess that would be 13-0 and winning the championship game. But, fun! Pardner, this season was FUN!

Ok, now watch him go down in the first quarter of the first game, like Dworcyzak. I like Rivers and Randall too, for what it's worth. I wish Rivers would hit the weights a bit. At 6'7" he is a bit skinny, so you wonder if he could take a pounding from the starting qb position. Thus, coaches may be less likely to take a chance on starting him. If he goes down, you've got problems.
