Besides losing about 26 players we will be finishing the season with seven conference games in a row...

at Gators
Auburn
at Ole Miss
bye
at Bama
Arky
at Tenn
aTm

stiff challenge in a rebuilding year. but anyway!

2011 was supposed to be a rebuilding year and we had a harder schedule than that

I just know how we are as fans. We could make an absolute HR hire and face it next year is going to be a challenge for anybody that gets it.

That's why recruiting at a level consistently is important. LSU has talent to replace talent.

And you can't judge a schedule this early. Remember when auburn and Wisconsin were going to pushovers and Arkansas and ole miss were going to be tough games?

Losing 26 players? Huh? Am I missing something?

at Gators:W
This team will not be very good. No QB and Jim's miserable recruiting will be catching up to him

Auburn: W
Home game. They will be worse than this year

at Ole Miss: W
Next years team will be as bad as this one..maybe worse with the sanctions

Bye

at Bama: L
Loss likely but you never know

Arky: W

At home and they will be around the same.

at Tenn: Tossup

Will be a tough game in Neyland but Butch is a miserable HC and they lose a lot. I think we end up winning

aTm: W

They will have no QB and its at home

at Gators - still will have a terrible offense, lose some big players on D
Auburn - they'll be good next year, but we play well against them at home
at Ole Miss - will be worse next year, Patterson will be trouble though
bye
at Bama - probable loss
Arky - won't be any better next year
at Tenn - way worse next year
aTm - way worse next year

Definitely a tough stretch, but LSU will still have a ton of talent on offense. Defensively, LB will be the biggest concern. Right now I think 5-2 is realistic over that stretch, maybe even 6-1.

Defense will still be really fricking good if we retain Aranda.

Offense will have a new system hopefully from an offensive minded head coach, we'll have a veteran QB, an elite RB, and a ton of talent at WR (albeit young).

OL is really worrisome though.

OL is the only worrisome part of our team next year

Is it? We'll only lose Pocic and Boutte, and we've rotated a bunch of young guys throughout the season. Definitely see something like:

LT - Malone
LG - Brumfield/Clapp
C - Clapp/Dodd
RG - Teuhema
RT - Weathersby

Not to mention you've got some really talented guys like Donavaughn Campbell and Chidi Okeke. Not saying it's going to be a great OL but I think we'll be okay there.

I'm sure Herman and Aranda can pull through.

I'm sure our new coach will have heard of the SEC and its schedule before taking the job.
All good

Mark half the season as losses if he comes. Future bust for a HC if he gets picked up by a big school

There's no crying in football. That's the schedule and we have to deal with.
Just time to strap the boots on and go to work
