Any Yankee fans out there. I am excited about tonight and lsu bama on saturday. If the yankees win and lsu this weekend I will be thrilled! Lets go yankees and tigers!!

I love the yankees...lived in NY for a year. Swisher and Tex have got to start hitting. Maybe pettite will deal tonight.

Untill there is a salary cap in baseball they will continue to pay whatever it takes to get the best. Dont hate the Yankees because athletes sell out for more money.

GO YANKEES...this argument has always been a fallacious one. The Steinbrenner family has always been willing to invest in their team because they are proud of it and love the winning tradition. Unlike small market, low payroll teams whose owners don't give a damn about winning, the Steinbrenners are happy to pump money in to build a contender.
Take a look at the largest payrolls in baseball...Mets, Red Sox and Tigers all come close. Case closed.

im not jealous at all, i dont even watch baseball until october, and when i do its just to pull against the yankees if they are playing. just cant get into a 160 game season

i hate the damn Yankees and Damon most of all. alright, i kinda like Jeter because he has earned my respect for the way he carries himself on and off the field.

The Yankees pay a huge "luxury" tax to the smaller market teams in the majors. The idea is to help those teams afford players. However, there is no rule that requires they spend the money on player salaries, and most of the owners take the money out and spend it on their yachts, second (or third) homes, etc. No sympathy. Geaux Yanks!
