It's a damn good job of merging the two. Unfortunately toonces is so bad it screwed yours up. I don't think any LSU tiger fan wants any other tiger besides the original.
It would make a good mascot for a high school who has never had their own logo. The white eyes is a good touch

Deuce, move the ears in closer together. flatten out the top of the head with the top of the a slightly downturned ear and give the brow and eyes a little more attitude.
