I heard that too; he obviously wants to remain with the LSU program, but I don't see him staying that long considering the circumstances of not only him, but his wife as well.

nope. staff should stay intack. so do you fire/demote people for improving. which is what we did in all phases of the game.

Look, the offense will be 'tweaked' next year with the inclusion of a real live QB. But it's hard to bitch about the results this year. Even if the Defense is what's winning the games. That's exactly how you SHOULD win championships.

The offense we are running is low on pass, high on the run, because we are great on special teams an defense. No need to take chances if you dont have to.
That being said, im sure the passing offense will be improved next year. If for no other reason than coach k and coach stud having a year under they're belts, an mettenbergers year of watching an hopefully learning. Im definitly looking forward to it.

This statement is right up there with one the week before we played Bama where someone said Bama's defense is so fast they will probably intercept a toss to a RB on a sweep play.

LSU led the fricking SEC in scoring this year. The qb's had 21 TD's to 4 int's. They had the fewest int's in the league. They had the best passer rating in the league. Maybe, just maybe, they didn't have as many passing yards as other teams because they didn't fricking HAVE to!!!! Jesus, the people on here get dumber and dumber. I swear to God.

Seriously? The passing game wasn't half bad on our way to 9-0. The last 2 games it wasn't very good, the reason is pretty obvious.
