This was well done, my friend. I agree.

I guess change is weird for some people. My initial reaction was a strong dislike but after reading some replies here and seeing more photos, I'm ok with it. At least the logo looks fantastic.

Love the logo, just disliked the change to the helmet.

Honestly...I'm as much a traditionalist as you'll ever find. So much so that I think the BEST Tiger Logo anywhere at LSU is the one painted on the wall of Tiger stadium's east side underneath the EU deck on the original bowl. It's gorgeous, and rough and mean, etc...but in terms of what would work for a cross platform logo it wouldn't be useable. It would look great as artwork or on a t shirt, but it couldn't work everywhere.

This update of the traditional circle tiger is an attempt, although not perfect one, at trying to keep what most LSU fans like about the "old" logo while making it more user friendly across multiple media. I applaud them for doing this, although I'm pissed this wasn't done back in 2002 when Toonces was thrust upon the fan base.

In terms of the uniform, again...I'm as traditional as they come. But, I also know my history and am aware that LSU's uniform, while similar in a broad sense to what it's been for many decades, has almost NEVER remained static for long periods of time. As such, I don;t think there's any ONE LSU football uniform that can be looked at as THE definitive version that is unalterable. At most, we can say we've had the Yellow helmet, three stripe helmet and pants (though those are no longer three stripes) and jerseys since the mid 1950's. The details have changed a bunch.
