Wow. It only took one season for the comments to go from "I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THEY AREN'T GOING TO HAVE THE INTIMIDATOR!!!!" to "The Intimidator is cheesy"
LSU fans on this site have graduated from Rantards to Idiotards.
It's sad but over the last 6 months I have been having to cut my daily Rant time way down so that my IQ doesn't drop to an unrecoverable level while I am on.
You people are just dumb.

It actually looks stupid. They should have just added another flag pole or put it over by the scoreboard!

Disagree. I didn't like that we were only aknowledging our titles when the wind blew last season. Whether that meant a new Intimidator or adding some signs below the press box, we needed something more visual.

The Lamar board is tacky. Other schools display their championships on the outfield fence in tasteful displays. The Lamar board looks like it belongs on the side of Hwy 190. Its bush league, low rent and trashes up the new-ness of the park.
Now, if its an electronic board that can show many different messages as well as the intimidator sign, I might change my mind.

when players come onto the field one of the first things they will notice is that sign, just remind them that they are playing one of the greatest college ever to play college baseball.
Also Flags don't stick out as much as a intemidator will stick, when you are at a LSU football game you forget those flags even exist it hard to forget that the intemidator exist.

The largest outdoor advertising company in the country happens to have it's headquarters in Baton Rouge. Lamar is just part of the makeup of the BR landscape.
It makes perfect sense that if a sign of that size were to go up, it would be from Lamar.

It really amazes me that some people on here just have to bitch for the sake of bitching. The intimidator is part of the character of alex box. Get used to it.
