I'll be happy with scoring more than 20 pts against Bama

Losing is part of the game. It happens. When we look like a bunch of chickens with our heads cut off is another.

Doubt it. If they win at least 8 games next year, it'll be seen as a success.

Your premise is flawed, imho. People in town are literally having trouble giving their tickets away. They have been there, done that with Les-football. It's not about Les the man or his record, it's about his UNFLINCHINGLY STUBBORN BRAND OF INEPT AND PREDICTABLE OFFENSIVE FOOTBALL. It's that people have lost interest in that particular football product. Les Miles is a freakin Prince. I love that man. Still can't give my tickets away though.Still can't watch a game without fighting the urge to scroll through my DVR playlist.

If we have an imaginative offense and play SMART football, people can live with losses. But they are tired of banging their heads against the wall, and are becoming apathetic and fatalistic. It is time.

I'm with you and not disputing that a change is needed. Just worry about expectations is all.

Could not agree more. Excellent experience explanation.

bullshite, there was plenty of not good enough when we were 13-0 going play for a national championship.

The new coach better be perfect, it's what the fans deserve

Bingo. I have had to separate Miles the man from Miles the coach (some argue you can't, and that's fine, these are all just opinions, after all) to get where I am now. Things just seem hopeless and it certainly appears that Les' best years are clearly behind him, and the way we are losing is terrible, not competitive and with what appears to be a system that doesn't gives us much of a chance (except in situations of a significant talent gap or extremely favorable matchup).

For me it has become a grind. Worrying about games when we clearly have better personnel, and have no business having to sweat it out until the whistle blows, and losing in ignominious fashion to Arky and OM, not to mention Ala.

As long as wr can get a good DC and a coach who can recruit then he will do better than miles. If miles had an offense then his records are better.

Yeah. He'll be expected to actually use the 4 and 5 star receivers we recruited.

Pimp gets it, and has probably been the best poster through his whole thing.

You can't look at this situation in a W/L vacuum, which is especially what non LSU fans are doing. To understand it, you'd have needed to actually WATCH LSU football over the last few years.

The style of play we have seen under Miles has run its course. This whole thing is more about change than anything.

bullshite, the first loss or non blowout, the teeth nashing will begin. If you can't lose to bama, you can't lose to anyone.

What about getting blown out by Arky and Ole Miss in back to back weeks?

The next coach will win with Mile's recruits.

If he wins, it's because he is a good coach. If he loses, it's because Miles didn't leave him with anything to work with.

I call bullshite on this, and God, I hope the administration doesn't feel this way. If you are going to sack the coach midseason, you BETTER have someone big to replace him. We are not 3-7, we're 7-3.
