hold on, do people here think the players aren't on PEDs? or am i missing the sarcasm?
because if you think they aren't... i have no idea what to say to you. they are. most of every major team is, i promise you. i dont know how anyone could be so naive.

Who are the 37 idiots who upvoted this idiotic thread?
The quicker you accept their talent along the defensive line is far above our offensive line the better off you'll be.

quote:why, they break every rule imaginable, those players are bought and paid for by the REC.
Good God. I don't even hate them anymore so much as respect them at this point.

I'm not saying I agree because I have no fricking clue. But the early to mid 2000s, pretty much the Sagan era athletes, were fricking nuts. They were grown fricking men and it showed.
This defense we saw last night was up there as well. You have to realize, though, beckwith, white, and Adams should be playing in the NFL. We didn't have the usual mass exodus last year. If we had just an average offense(30-50 overall in the nation) we would have won that game.

The reason they are so strong is because they have the best strength coach in the country. Have you ever seen them in the weight room they go all out in there. Also it helps they cherry pick the best players in every state every year.

quote:im agreeing with you, if people think bama isnt jacked as frick on gear then i dont know where youve been for 20 years. they are. i assume we are too but miles tested for weed so i assume he was tough on these too.
I don't understand the complete uproar over the possibility that Bama has a larger percentage...
saban is much more practical, i know he doesnt test for weed until the NCAA forces him too so i doubt he cares about PEDs.

Not at all. I think the Alabama players buy a lot more into the completeness of the system than LSU players do and accept personal responsibility for failing. As such, they are more inclined to be self-disciplined and intrinsically motivated. This includes being motivated to excel at strength and conditioning and more importantly, nutrition.
It is not uncommon for me to walk around campus and see one of our offensive or defensive linemen polishing off a whole bag of Zapp's potato chips or a double quarter pounder from McDonald's. Their Alabama counterpart is probably eating 2 grilled chicken breasts on a bed of spinach.

tim williams was arrested with weed and a unlicensed gun and said the weed belonged to a guy named "brandon chicken". you think he wasnt baked as frick when they thought up that name? the only thing he was intrinsically motivated to do was get high and then go snack.
you people need to open your eyes. bama is where they are because they cheat in every way possible. they always have, bear practically invented it, its who they are at this point.
5 years before saban got there they were on the verge of the death penalty for buying players, for "some of the worst (violations) that have ever occurred".
you think they just stopped overnight after that and its just coincidence that they almost immediately began a run of 6 straight number 1 classes, more than Pete Carrol, Urban Meyer, and Miles ever had combined?

Exactly. While every program has some level of use (just like recruiting violations), I think they are much more excessive than everyone else. Just like cycling had a certain level of use and then you had Lance Armstrong, the outlier. It has always amazed me that with th exception of last night they have never had a marquee player out with injury before a marquee game.

The players are drug tested asshat
Mary Wilfert, who runs the NCAA’s drug-testing program, said 11,146 student-athletes were tested by the NCAA in 2014.
There are approximately 420,000 athletes (in) the NCAA.
LINK
As it stands, the NCAA conducts tests before some postseason games and, on average, at each school once a year. Not all players get tested. At Georgia, for instance, the NCAA this year tested 32 of its roughly 650 athletes, said Ron Courson, Georgia’s director of sports medicine.
LINK
its not the NCAA or even the SEC "in charge of setting policy and carrying out testing for performance-enhancing drugs. Unlike other sports, college teams conduct their own testing and mete out their own punishments."
testing is up to the school. schools like bama dont even have official punishments, its a case by case judgement.
