You're right!! I forgot about seeing where he spoke about initially really liking LSU, but after watching Notre Dame's great effort in the Champs Sports Bowl, he decided he couldn't see himself playing anywhere but South Bend.

An outsider who views this site now would consider LSU to have one of the worst fanbases in existence. Smartass trolls and cool-guys, and spoiled titty-babies who drop their allegiance the first time LSU is outscored in a quarter.

IMO, the game's outcome won't affect recruits that much. That being said, I spent $200 on 2 tix. It's how I'm spending my New Year's Eve. Living in N Ga, I don't get the opp of seeing the tigers live as much as I'd like. Drunkeness combined with an LSU win is very important to me. A drunken lsu win is beter than a drunken loss. I'll be screaming as loudly as ever. It's where we ended up and nothing can change that. Lets make the best of it and support the team. if you "dont care", are you really a fan? Lets go beat the shite out of the ACC, ring in a new yr full of new possibilities, and enjoy the comraderie of fellow Tigah fans.

the ONLY people who give a shite about this game is LSU and CLEMSON Fans. Never knew a real LSU fan (and I started going to games in 1969) who didnt give a shite about a game......

The second largest Saban fanbase resides here. It's similar to a young lady whose first 'big love' left and no one afterward will satisfy. It can be seen in this thread and through out TR. The adoration is almost girlish/effeminate and has a stalker like characteristic. And similarly...there is no cure for it. The poster Lonnie4LSU is responding to is merely the latest manifestation.
