They were confined to Miles. Extracting Miles was going to make everything healthy again. Now they seem to have spread to Coach O, the AD and University President. Are we now terminal?

Straw man.

Nobody ever said that. It was always replace Miles with a competent coach.

Whether that has happened remains to be seen, so a negatiger resurgence is not impossible.

Ha.

I dont think you are remembering things as they actually happened. You may not have ever held the belief that just removing miles would solve all the problems, but lets not pretend like this wasnt a popular belief the last 5 years on this board.

You're right. We all assumed that a proper coaching search would be performed and apparently overestimated LSU's appeal. However, even as bad as it's gone so far Im still not sure we won't be better without Miles. Hopefully Orgeron can mirror all the good abilities of Miles while also managing to let the right OC bring the offense up to speed.

It is has already solved the majority of them. Let's not think we were wrong in removing him either. If he is a top 5 coach has all of the Miles pumpers on this board said why has he not be able to land a job? Houston chose Applewhite over him.

Some of the pumpers compared him to Urban and Nick. How long do you think those two would have been unemployed or overlooked. LSU did not only the right thing but the obvious thing, just a few games to late.

Hey, who deleted my comment that the same people who are horrified that our football coach doesn't meet their high standards of excellence for resume' and job qualifications don't have any problems with the idea of a reality TV star for US president? That's chickenshit...

It remains to be seen if we will be better without Miles or not. A lot of people don't realize how hard it is to find a great coach. Especially if the university doesn't even perform a thorough coaching search. We could easily go the route of Texas or Nebraska or Michigan pre-Harbaugh.

If you can't see this program is a mere shadow of what it was then I have no words for you.

We fired a coach mid season to hire our d-line coach.

What top program does this? LSU at the moment is a national joke. I'm not exaggerating either.

Take a look at all the talent leaving the state and that tells you all you need to know.

????

Not sure what you're responding to. I believe that Miles needed to be fired. I'm just not impressed with our moves after firing Miles, and I think there are many that feel the same way.

I don't think any are unhappy Miles is gone.

Now, a lot were saying that any fool could run the program, we might find out if they're right.

They have been proved right now that simply removing miles led to record breaking offensive performances.
