bullshite! There have been dozens upon dozens of threads over the past few years stating that "anybody can win at LSU" and "anyone with a pulse could be as successful as Miles" or "anyone but Miles"

The people that have hated Miles over the years aren't going anywhere. Some of them will be just as unhappy no matter who coaches the team.

While I generally agree with this, this thread is pretty dumb.

"Negatigers" is a dreadful term that has no meaning.

Fans of all programs bitch, moan and complain when things aren't right. It's not unique to LSU fans. Miles mediocrity was rightfully criticized by many people who love the Tigers.
Yes, many deluded fans are disappointed with the Orgeron hire. So be it. It won't impact his success or failure. Let it play. After all, we held onto that dolt who looked like Elmer Fudd for far too long.

They're on the coaching changes board still trashing the Coach O hire.

Sad isn't it? People that get so invested in their own interests that they can't get their new coach.

I don't think all of the NegaTigers have become O-Nos, some are CheeriOs.

I meant to say while I agree with this, didn't mean to say you. I don't recognize your screenname.

But this thread is dumb. People are not happy about the hire. But they all seem to hope it works out.

I supported/defended miles up until the end, mostly because a lot of the criticism was fairly stupid. But in the end I was on board with firing the guy. And I also hate this hire, but hopefully it works out. But that won't stop me from voicing my displeasure and my lack of confidence in aleva.

And most of those people that you say would be unhappy no matter what, would have been exstatic with a different coach.

Why aren't we allowed to think the coaching search was a joke?

A few of them made the jump to Orgeron backers on the premise that since he's not Miles, he must be GOAT. Most have remained butthurt because we didn't lure Saban back from Tuscaloosa, and determined O to be a faulure before he coaches his first official game as HBC.

We averaged 5 points a game while going 0-2 against the only teams of the last seven we played who had a rush defense with a pulse.

That you Alleva?

I supported him throughout his tenure at LSU, but I also was ready for him to be replaced.

There's no doubt SOME would be, I don't know about most. That's why I said SOME would be unhappy no matter what. But even some of those that would have been exstatic with a different coach, would turn on him as soon as the "new shine" were to wear off.

I'm not saying people shouldn't question the coaching search. I think it was a joke. Bottom line though, the hire is made. People don't have to be happy about it, and perhaps they shouldn't be happy about it. But I do feel that everyone should show the new staff some support and hope for the best. That's what I'm gonna do.

bullshite. No one has ever compared miles to either of these.

If he is a top 5 coach has all of the Miles pumpers on this board said why has he not be able to land a job

He is 63 and you have no clue what he has been offered. He has been successful at every HC stop. If he were younger he would get tons of offers. He isnt saban or meyer or a great coach. But he can recruit and motivate.
