Hey all, need some advice. I don't get to go to many games (maybe one a year) and when I do I get there plenty early. However, it looks like I won't be getting into BR till nearly game time. Where would ya'll recommend parking to get to stadium as quickly as possible. Don't mind paying or a long quick walk, whatever will get me and my boy to stadium as quickly as possible. Coming in from North (Lake Charles). Thanks!

Parking pass is your best bet if you're not arriving until game time. You won't be able to park within a 30 minute walk if you don't have a pass. Check the ticket exchange for a pass. Depending on location the pass will likely cost from $50-$125.

try to find a spot out by the levee or the Vet lots. Really your only hope coming in late. Or hope one of the pay for lots down Nicholson still has some spots.

The best plan you can have is to go downtown to the Hilton and catch the CATS shuttle. Price is $3.50 roundtrip. It's a little slow getting in but quick leaving, depending how fast you can get to the bus area. (by the new baseball field). The only catch is if you need to get to the Hilton about an hour or more before game time. I think thats when the last shuttle leaves.
I am from Sulphur, and this is the best way to do it if not going early. Been going many, many years.

I park at the north end of Alaska at the church. Fairly easy in and easy out. $20. 5 minute walk

Normally I park side of Nich. around Roosevelt/Iris. Haven't been this year but someone told me police now make you turn right off Nicholson onto McKinnley St going towards River Rd. Will they let you take a left on McK. to get to Alaska? This sounds like best bet if not full.
