Don't know much about LSU's history when it comes to financial commitments and infrastructure development, do you?

I know those " financial commitments and infrastructure development" were not so far below others or adequate enough to have LSU ranked in the top 20 1/2 the time in the 40 yrs. before 2000 and to be champion or co-champions of the SEC 7 times in that same period.

Lets not pretend LSU had nothing going for it prior to 2000. Like wise lets not pretend the coaching going on at LSU since 2000 has not produced vastly better result than any coming before in our history.

"I'm convinced LSU would win the same amount of games with any avg coach. "

Wow I must have dreamed the 90s then. It doesn't matter how good a coach you are if you can't recruit. Saban brought LSU back by slaying it in recruiting! Not just getting a Kevin Faulk, or Josh Booty, or even Tommy Hodson. You saw what happened to Hodson after the talent around him diminished his senior year. Miles and Saban have recruited superior players across the whole team. Hugh Freeze is seeing success because of recruiting. Player quality wins games. Team quality wins championships.

How many times a game do you think you have screamed, " Good God! Here we go again! Hurry the frick up!"?

Zero.

Screaming is for women in distress.

LSU's football program is stronger than FSU.

2011 we were an elite program - top 3 in the country. Now we're top 7-10, IMO.

Can an average coach bring in the same talent? Or does an average coach bring in average talent and thus further mediocrity than now?

Haven't seen a Florida, Miami, Tennessee, USC, Nebraska, or Auburn game lately have you

That talent miracled itself here after all, there was no recruiting involved or anything.
