Les has done nothing but win (to the tune of 111-32), recruit, reload ~ wash, rinse, repeat ~ for the last 11 seasons. But, since he isn’t Nick Saban, boosters managed to drum up $20 million at the drop of the hat in attempts to bring Jimbo Fisher back to the bayou. The rumor-mill, whether wrong or right, was certainly alive in Baton Rouge last week.

quote:

"Rightly or wrongly, you will always be compared to the top people in your profession, so it’s just a part of the game. I just think the crowd who thinks you will make a hire and go from a 78% win percentage to a 90% win percentage is maybe not being too realistic.” - former LSU DE Anthony Zehyoue

1) Alabama
7) FSU
11) LSU

I'm convinced LSU would win the same amount of games with any avg coach. We still have underachieved so much given the talent and hard headed coaching.. and inability to develop a decent quarterback for the majority.

It's whatever.. Should check the current trend in SEC play.. not winning nearly enough

Yeah, I'm going to immediately disregard any article which ranks Clemson and Oregon as better coaching opportunities than LSU and UGA. What a nonsensical, amateurish piece of drivel.

Maybe a month ago, after that fiasco orchestrated by Alexander, Alleva, and the boosters, the LSU job took a hit.

before this whole thing blew up, the national perception on Miles was that he was a below average coach who had clock management issues and couldn't develop a QB. so what's changed since then?

No less than 35 coaches in college football could achieve the same record with this team. You pay more to seperate yourself from others, not include others.

National perception of Miles isn't as bad we thought . Everyone seems to love the guy and thinks he is one of the best now. They aren't right but it us what it is.
