Trouble? I see nothing that gives me reason for concern. I've said it before. Level of comp matters to me. Does it decide what a kid will do when he gets to college, NO. But, it helps me evaluate film. With what Scott did in Louisiana 5A last year, he's at least on equal footing in terms of ability. If he gets a fair shake (an I believe he will), there could be hell to pay.

EVERY QB GETS A "FAIR SHAKE"! The ones who leave just weren't as good as the ones who stay. People said Rivers didn't get a fair shake. He transferred to Vandy and was terrible and ended up at Northwestern State. People said Rettig never got a fair shake. He transferred to Rutgers and is projected to be a backup for the second year in a row. People said that because Jennings started in front of Harris in 2014, Miles would never let Harris jump ahead of him regardless of talent. Harris threw every pass for LSU in 2015.

It's time to let this narrative die that Miles doesn't give QBs a fair shake because he is playing favorites.

Unfortunately, either Brennan or Narcisse will decommit. Hate to say it, but hopefully they both stick around to compete. If I were a betting man, it would be Narcisse who we lose, and that scares the shite out of me. Regardless, we need them both to have the chest!

They are both very much committed and have talked it out with each other. Both QBs will sign with LSU.

He has arm talent you can't coach, but so does current LSU starter Brandon Harris.
I haven't seen any consistently effective and efficient "Arm Talent" from BH in the short-medium passing game.

Has anybody else?

You know, the kind that is usually necessary in order to win a Divisional or Conference Championship.

Hey, we all love how he can throw the ball 70 yards down field.

We all love that he has the ability to "Extend plays with his Feet," (Miles Quote) but is not allowed to extend plays with his feet in this custom "Milesbechler Flexbone Square Peg-Round Hole" Offense........

This is probably true but at some point one of them will transfer out of LSU. That is ok with me. They come in they compete the staff figures out which one is better then the other transfers is not a bad thing.

Sure, one of them might leave later on down the road. But that means that both QBs came to campus to compete, and the best man won. As I stated in my post above, no QB has left LSU and gone on to be better than the guy who started in front of him. Both will be better QBs because they had to compete against each other.

I don't know where they will be in 3 years, but in 2017, they will both be wearing the purple and gold.

Harris never scrambled for time or ran option?
I guess you don't watch games and just pop into tRant to post garbage now and then.

Harris performed similar to many solid sec Qb's early in their career. He was a first year starter that was very efficient untill he got hurt and had to face some experienced and talented defenses. I feel like Harris will be much better this season.

This staff has done a poor job of evaluating qb's. They found great talents at other positions but have never piled a qb out of the hat. Garrett, Rivers, Rettig, Jennings....I don't think it's the coaching as much as it is the evaluation is poor during recruiting. These qb's left and did not have success elsewhere (we'll see about Jennings).

How many of those guys who you mentioned did Cam recruit?

Zero.

You have a different definitely of "arm talent." Obviously those mid-range throws are critical too but I think you know that by arm talent they mean driving the ball and having the arm to make all of the throws.
