Nah you know when we win its just because we have more talent.

I agree with your OP (but I certainly don't presume to know the future).

Do you think the bats will hold up across the season? Kind of expect Kade to cool some and Bregs to warm going forward.

We've got a talented team. Just need to get all the pieces in place and peak at the right time.

In 08 we were swept by Tenn, lost road series to Florida and Ole Miss and if not for a tie on Sunday were almost swept at home by Georgia. Then proceeded to win the SEC tourney, regional, and super. Just saying.

Sometimes we win on talent, sometimes we have to rely on our coach to make the right decisions and have the team prepared.

... And that's all I have to say... about that.

I do think the hitting keeps up. When you have a lineup that's solid 1-9 and doesn't have any weak spots it gives opposing pitchers and bullpen fits.

The breaking stuff Jack was throwing at the end of the game seemed to give the Tigers fits.

I would argue that because of his experience as a scout he can read into a situation better than any of us.

I agree about the hitting. I have some concerns about pitching, fielding, base running, and managerial decisions. However, LSU is a very solid team overall. These two losses were bizarre, but it is baseball.

And sometimes he does make the right decisions, but some people (not you) won't admit that.

I would say he generally makes the right decisions on pretty much everything, except for his management of the pitching staff. His reluctance to get someone up and getting loose BEFORE trouble starts is dumbfounding. I don't know how they actually work it out, but if it's PM making the decisions, I wish he would let Dunn take over that responsibility.

in fact LSU beat themselves in both games.

I hate this comment and comments similar to it.

Give credit to the opponent.

Lack of execution and poor game management is why we lost. "Beat themselves"??? Was it a team scrimmage??? An intrasquad??? No. Kentucky won the game/games. Give them credit.
