Eh I have no problem if Les stays or goes... If he stays then good win more games, if he goes then good luck on next job.
I think LSU has finally reached a level in college football where we will not slip into a decline like we did over the course of the 90's. People look at Tennessee/Michigan but over past 10 years they have not reached the heights that LSU has and that means something I believe.
LSU is an attractive place again for recruits and LSU will continue to keep the best players in state while pulling players from Houston area. LSU should not lose more than 5 games in any given year and never twice in a row again.

The rebuilding excuse is tired and can go either way.
Miles is inconsistent.

If Miles wins a 2nd, other than whatever love he and hi family have for Baton Rouge (and the weather), he would be a fool to turn down such an offer.
Happiness is a low base, and RichRod is lowering the base more by the day. He could be a hero up there winning the 8-9 games he is lambased for down in BR.

If he wins BCS NC this year, with the team I see, and the 2011 class I see, he is going to figure on COMPETING for CHAMPIONSHIPS , as he puts it, at LSU during his last two years of the current contract.
He would probably open as #1 in the nation, with two senior QBs, and a lot of great RBs and WRs.
And in your fantasy, he leaves all that go back to ice and snow and trying to pick up recruits in Ohio and western PA, competing against Pitt, State Penn and THE Ohio State?
